I recently switched over to a new software for typing with Chinese characters, called Sogou Pinyin. You can download it for free on their website, and I’ve been really happy with it so far. According to wikipedia, Sogou has 70% of the “input method editor” market, so I guess I’m not the first to discover it… I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good program for typing in Chinese.
