Fans of the Colbert Report might be interested to know that Chinese members of the Colbert Nation have given Colbert a Chinese name: 抠熊, Kouxiong, kou for the sound of the first part of his name, and then xiong which means bear and therefore sounds like the second half — so the name is Kou-Bear (and The Colbert Report is 抠抠熊报告). Which is ironic given Colbert’s well-known fear of bears. I wonder if Colbert knows that he has a Chinese name?
