I just found out that Ai Weiwei answered one of the questions I left for him at the interactive video screens at the Tate Modern — my very own brush with fame! There’s a great mini-documentary on Ai Weiwei on PBS — where he is compared to a modern-day Andy Warhol, but possibly more famous — as well as an interesting interview with Evan Osnos about him. For anyone with a New Yorker subscription, Osnos’ profile of Ai Weiwei is very much worth reading.

I should have left an encouraging message for him if I knew what was gonan happen to him later on.
The news today in Gurandian was more ridiculous than depressing. I don’t know who is afraid of him so much.
